There’s no need to travel abroad for exposure to the cultures of other countries – you can experience many of these cultures at the “See the World in Branson” annual spring international festival, taking place during the entire month of April. The event highlights culture from countries within continents such as Asia, Europe and South America, so visitors are guaranteed to find a few surprises and interesting traditions during their stay. Many of Branson’s area lodging, show theaters and restaurants will be participating in this festival celebrating world culture.  Shows such as Yakov Smirnoff, Twelve Irish Tenors, and the Acrobats of China will give you a dose of their own origins and traditions, and other shows will be celebrating cultures that they have an interest in. You’re more than welcome to take part in this educational festival, and you can reserve Branson lodging before you go.

If any of these cultured shows strike your fancy, you’re welcome to attend a performance at places like the Yakov Smirnoff Show, which combines the talents, slapstick humor and charm of Yakov into one fantastic show. Yakov has been in Branson for many years, and he loves the audiences who come back to see him year after year. He has an extraordinary list of accomplishments, such as writing his own book, a movie appearance and many television show appearances.

You won’t want to miss the Acrobats of China, which also stars as one of Branson’s top shows in terms of both culture and performance. The show has an array of colorful productions and costumes by some of the most agile and balanced acrobats to ever take the stage.  The 40 world class performers provide audiences with a glowing array of highlights such as contortion acts, aerial ballet and even jar juggling!
