Even the outside of the resort is decked out for the season with two million twinkling lights decorating the drive and trees.

In addition to the other festivities, guests can also visit ICE! at Gaylord’s Opryland Nashville. ICE! is an attraction that nobody should miss this season with its larger-than-life handcrafted ice sculptures. This year’s theme for ICE! is “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” which means guests will be immersed in the colorful, icy enchantment of Santa’s journey for the holidays. It’s a perfect way for people of all ages to enjoy an afternoon or evening of magic together!

After visiting ICE!, make sure to see Louise Mandrell’s “The Gift” Christmas Dinner and Show. As another featured part of Gaylord’s A Country Christmas, this show offers guests a delightful dinner and show combination that is perfect for the holidays. Guests will enjoy a large meal consisting of seasonal favorites like candied yams and beef tenderloin pot pie while Louise Mandrell entertains them by singing Christmas classics with a country twist. Only one more show on December 13th is available for Louise Mandrell’s “The Gift” Dinner and Show, so if you’re interested in seeing this show, you had better get your tickets soon!

Of course, you can’t visit Nashville during the holidays without seeing the Radio City Rockettes perform in their Christmas extravaganza. Fantastic choreography, high kicks, and beautiful costumes are combined with classic songs like the “12 Days of Christmas” and “Parade of Wooden Soldiers” for a stellar show that is selling out almost every night. Theirs is a “must see” performance that is one of the best reasons to visit Nashville during the season!
