If you love kewpie dolls, you’re going to want to be in the city of Branson, MO April the 24th for Tea with the Kewpies at Bonniebrook. Bonniebrook is a museum and tea house that will be serving light refreshments and providing live entertainment that will be fun for all ages and is free of admission. The artist Rose O’Neill is hosting the event and has arranged for a visit from live Kewpies from Hickman High School for the event. Hickman High School’s mascot is the kewpie, and she will be present as well.

While you’re in the Branson area, don’t miss out on the other great attractions Branson has to offer. See some of the great shows and performers that are unique to Branson and have made Branson famous. See the Shoji Tabuchi Show where Shoji and his family perform wonderful violin music from a variety of genres in a fast-paced, and entertaining show. There’s only one Shoji Tabuchi, and you won’t be able to experience his violin playing anywhere but Branson.

If you’re interested in Kewpie dolls, you may also find yourself interested in the great toy museum located in Branson. The World’s Largest Toy Museum will transport you back to your childhood with its thousands of toys from the past. IMAX Film Festival Brings the Best Films in the Business to Branson, Missouri

The IMAX Film Festival is an event taking place from March 24th to April 20th in Branson, MO that focuses on showing films made exclusively for the IMAX theater experience. IMAX technology allows viewers to see movies on a larger-than-life scale that is several times bigger than the normal theater screen and delivers crystal-clear images that are far above the standard movie projector quality. Because this event is geared toward IMAX films exclusively, one can be certain that all the films at this festival will be of the highest quality possible.

Santa Clause Visits Branson

Santa visits BransonFor most children, Christmas is the best time of year. The season is full of magic and wonder. And cookies. Lots of cookies. Of course, Santa Clause is pretty cool, too.

As in years past, children in the Branson area will be able to enjoy a special Christmas treat the second weekend in December. This year, Santa’s Workshop will be held on December 12 and 13 in historic downtown Branson.  During this two-day event, children will be able to decorate cookies, make ornaments, and even tell Santa their Christmas wishes in person!

If you are planning on being in Branson the weekend of December 12 and 13, don’t let your family miss this chance for holiday memories. The workshop will be open on Saturday from 9 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon and again on Sunday from noon to 4.

Pam Tillis and John Anderson

On October 3, these two country music veterans will take the stage at RFD-TV Theatre for one night. Pam Tillis, the daughter of legend Mel Tillis, is a country star in her own right and has been entertaining audiences with original hits since the 1980s. Some of her most popular songs include “Maybe It Was Memphis” and “Shake The Sugar Tree.” John Anderson is also a country legend who has many hits under his belt. Audiences will enjoy his mellow voice as he sings some of his previous hits, which may include “Seminole Wind” and “Look Away.” This duo will only perform on one night, so do not miss out!

Marty Stewart and Connie Smith

This duo of legendary country artists will take the stage for two weekends in October, the 9-10 and 16-17. Marty Stewart is an iconic performer that has many hits from his decades-long career in country music. Some of his popular songs include “Hillbilly Rock,” “If There Ain’t There Oughtta Be,” and “Too Much Month.” Connie Smith is a seasoned country musician and gospel singer who has also been on the scene for many years. Her hits include “Tiny Blue Transistor Radio,” “God Is Abundant,” and “Born To Sing.”

Brule and the American Indian Rock Opera

This show appeared earlier in the summer and was so popular that it was brought back for a limited time in November. This show is available during the first two weeks of November. This show features the vocal talent of Brule and the amazing dancing skills of the American Indian Rock Opera dance troupe. Noah the Musical

Only in its second season, Noah the Musical at Sight and Sound Theater has become one of Branson’s most popular and must-see shows. This spectacular show features live animals and a musical interpretation of the famous biblical story of Noah and the Ark. The Sight and Sound Theatre features a state-of-the-art stage with sets that reach up to 40 feet in height. Other stage effects include pyrotechnics, lasers, and video imaging. Although you may be familiar with the story of Noah, you surely have never seen it presented like this. Noah the Musical runs until October 17, and it has not been confirmed that it is returning to Branson.

Andy Williams’ All-Star Variety Show

After a summer-long hiatus in which he wrote his memoir, the legendary performer Andy Williams has returned to the Branson 76 strip with a classic All-Star Variety Show. This performance runs until September 30. Featuring the style of classic variety shows, this performance features a variety of performers and acts, including Andy Williams, the Warnocks, Aliona and Pasha, Williams Brothers tap-dancing duo, Joe Trammel, Tom Mullica, and Dean Church. This is a truly one-of-a-kind performance that offers something for everyone, and your last chance to see it is quickly approaching.

Righteous Brothers’ Bill Medley and Paul Revere and the Raiders

This engaging act has spent the summer at Andy Williams’ Moon River Theatre. This show’s final performance will be October 24, but the show is available at 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday starting October 1. This show features Bill Medley and Paul Revere and the Raiders performing their classic songs. Medley performs Righteous Brothers hits such as “Unchained Melody” and “You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling.” Those who grew up in the 50s and 60s will feel as though they have been transported back to their youth as they enjoy these classic songs from that era, brought to them by the performers who made them famous.
