GRACELANDElvis Presley fans from all over will soon be convening near Memphis in Tupelo, Mississippi for the Annual Elvis Presley Festival held on the anniversary of his homecoming to his birth town of Tupelo in 1956. From June 6-9, Tupelo’s historic downtown will be transformed in celebration of Elvis’ life and art.

The weekend includes a variety of offerings to keep you entertained, including live concerts featuring over 10 artists, a parade reenactment of Elvis’ homecoming, and a concert by an Elvis impersonator. Other features of the weekend include exploring the exhibits in the museum, which include movie posters from Elvis’ films and documentary films. You may even find some of the locals who were there in 1956 and talk to them about their memories from that day.

Sure to be a unique and fun experience, there is no better time to celebrate the life and musical legacy of Elvis than at this festival in Tupelo, which offers a beautiful downtown area with plenty of options for delicious southern food and more. For three days, from May 1 through 3, Beale Street will be flooded with revelers and rockin’ sounds.
