Although Memphis is probably the most well-known destination for Elvis festivals and celebrations, Pigeon Forge, TN is another city that honors the life and music of Elvis, as well as being a great musical destination.
The Annual Elvis Festivalwill be taking place at Memories Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN on August 16. The Memories Theater features Elvis tribute concerts year round, but they set aside a day to really celebrate and honor Elvis’ contribution to American music and film. The event features noted Elvis tribute artist Lou Vuto. The special theme of this year’s tribute is the “’68 Comeback Special.” In addition to the great music of Elvis and the performance of Lou Vuto, Memories will be hosting special events throughout the day in honor of Elvis.
