This year, headline speakers and writers include Margaret Atwood, Alice Munro, and David Sedaris. Other authors scheduled to appear are Alistair MacLeod, Michael Crummey, and Elaine Arsenault. Special features of the festival include special French readings by writers from Quebec and a writing contest. Of course, there will also be book vendors on site. A variety of books and readings will be available, with everything from non-fiction to children’s books. Readings and events will be held at various venues on Granville Island, including Waterfront Theatre, Granville Island Hotel, and the Revue Theatre.
