Found along the East coast and in Chicago, Spirit Cruises offer travelers a luxurious time of sightseeing and dining while on vacation, and this sentiment certainly holds true when visiting Washington DC. Whether you’re looking for lunch along the Washington Harbor, a relaxing night of elegant dining and entertainment or a simple sightseeing cruise, there’s a Spirit Cruise just for you waiting at the docks in Washington DC.

Spirit of Washington DC Lunch Cruise

The Spirit of Washington DC Lunch Cruise offers travelers a wondrous buffet-style lunch consisting of a wide range of salads that include everything from typical garden salads to pasta and tuna salad, entrees such as stuffed sole Chesapeake, Szechwan beef and roasted vegetable lasagna, and decadent desserts like creme brulee cheesecake and chocolate marquis cake. Of course, food is only half the equation of a Spirit Cruise with quality live entertainment, sightseeing and the chance to do a little dancing yourself all rounding out your experience in the Washington Historic Harbor.

Spirit of Washington DC Dinner Cruise

The Spirit of Washington DC Dinner Cruise is much the same as the lunch cruise with the notable exception of enjoying a starry DC night along the Washington Historic Harbor. Additionally, a carving station is added to the dinner cruise buffet with cob smoked ham and rosemary round roast adding even more variety to an already exceptional spread. Whether you’re looking to spend your night in DC sightseeing, being entertained by a live variety show or would simply like to dance the night away, you’ll find it all offered along with a decadent buffet aboard the Spirit of Washington DC Dinner Cruise.

Spirit of Washington II – Mount Vernon Sightseeing Excursion Cruise

Varying from the typical Spirit Cruise, the Spirit of Washington II – Mount Vernon Sightseeing Excursion Cruise is a three hour sightseeing cruise to Mount Vernon along the Potomac River. The narrated tour offers insightful information into the many historic and gorgeous scenes that the cruise passes, and for those that get hungry there is a snack bar complete with everything from pizza and hot dogs to juice and cold beer.

DC has all sorts of tours by land and water–and some tours by both. Go by water to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of sightseeing. You get fantastic views of several monuments–including the Lincoln, Jefferson, and Kennedy memorials–from a different perspective.

Best of all are the night cruise, when Georgetown and monuments are bathed in a fantastic lighting.

    Have a Fun,
    George
