Experience China with a Cruise Along the Yangtze River!
In an effort to help expand your travels from North America to cultures around the world, we are now offering escorted vacation packages to every continent, including Antarctica! And in an effort to help you become familiar with these exciting new options we are periodically highlighting some of these new packages with today’s highlight focusing on China’s largest river, the Yangtze.
With the Cruising the Yangtze River package you’ll take part in a 16-day, guided vacation as you travel along the Yangtze River, experiencing Shanghai, Guilin, Xian, Beijing, the Great Wall and more. Your journey begins in Shanghai, providing you a few days to become acquainted with the culture of the region before taking a four day cruise on the Yangtze. Along the cruise, cultural gems such as the Three Gorges Dam, Shibaozhai Temple, and the mountain community of Chongqing will be explored for an adventurous journey through China.
On day nine, you’ll return to land jumping from Guilin to Xian to Beijing, experiencing the many nuances of the Chinese culture throughout. Of particular note, a visit to the Great Wall will help put more than 20 centuries of history in perspective for one of the more moving moments of your experience.

This sounds amazing, I would really enjoy something like this.
This would really put my world history class into perspective. We are currently talking about China and the Great Wall.
Wow! I bet this is amazing.
Wow, it looks pretty there. I would love to visit the place where spaghetti was invented.
I took a tourism class awhile back, where we talked a lot about China. In class we talked about China building the dam and how it is going to totally change the landscaping of this area. It’s actually really sad because so much history is going to be flooded by the river and so many are losing their homes because of it.
This sounds like to would be an amazing trip. I would love to go. I could get some great pictures.
that pic look so beautiful. nature in its self is so divine.
I’m actually reading a book about a missionary who lived in China in the early 1900s. The way he describes the landscape just takes my breath away. I would love to visit this area of the world.
