International Films are a good way to find out what the new standards are in the industry.
For instance, our new horror films here derive from alot of japanese movies and eastern european as well. It’s a nifty way to look into the future.

Wow. I had no idea our horrow films derived from other countries. You must be a movie buff, Eli. I wonder if these international films are done in English. I don’t have the patience to watch movies where you have to read the scripts at the bottom of the page.

  3. Stephanie says:

I’ve previously been to Sundance and really enjoyed it, so I would definitely take a look at this International fest if I am in the area when it’s going on

I really enjoy watching Bollywood movies, so I’m pretty sure I would enjoy this (as long as there are subtitals :)

This would be a great event to attend if you’re a filmophile. I hope they’re doing it next year. I’d go then as there’s no way I’m making it out there this year. :( A lot of the great directors of tomorrow may be getting their start here and it’d be cool to be their to witness their humble beginnings.
