Elvis Presley’s Graceland Platinum ExperienceMemphis, Tennessee has become almost synonymous with Elvis Presley. With Graceland, the Heartbreak Hotel and so many more Elvis sites in the city, Memphis is the ultimate vacation destination for Elvis fans in particular, and music fans in general. Spring time is the ideal time to come to Memphis to pay tribute to the king of rock and roll.

Elvis Presley’s Graceland Platinum Experience

Any visit to Memphis should include a trip to Elvis’ famed Graceland Mansion. With the Graceland Platinum Experience you not only get to visit the mansion, but you will also gain entry to two museums, the Elvis Presley Automobile Museum and the Sincerely Elvis Memorabilia Museum. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to see the inside of Elvis Presley’s private custom made airplanes. In addition, you can commemorate the King by laying flowers upon his final resting place in the Meditation Garden. The Graceland Platinum Experience is the ultimate Elvis’ fan experience.

Sun Studio Guided Tour

Situated right in the heart of downtown Memphis, Sun Studio boasts of giving Elvis Presley his start. Other artists that launched their careers here include Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Sun Studio is the only recording studio in the country designated a National Historic Landmark. Come visit and see rock memorabilia like the microphone used by Elvis in 1954 to record his first song. When you are finished touring the studio you can also enjoy food and drink at the 50s style Sun Studio Soda Shop.

Hard Rock Cafe – Memphis, TN

If you are looking for a good meal in Memphis, look no further than the Hard Rock Café where you can dine surrounded by instruments and personal items from great performers like Bo Diddley, Janis Joplin, U2, and of course, Elvis Presley. You will find yourself very much at home as you dine and rock and roll at the Hard Rock Café.

I loved Memphis. It’s a great place to spend a few days. I definitely recommend doing the whole elvis experience. You’ll learn way more about the history of Memphis (more than just about Elvis, for that matter).

  2. Elizabeth says:

A trip to memphis to have the Elvis experience would be a awesome vacation.
I would love to see all the memorbilla

  3. Nichole says:

I would enjoy seeing Sun Studio, where so many stars got their start. Maybe some of the good luck would run off on me, so I can start my singing career on the right foot.

  4. Andrew says:

The Elvis Experience is just that! Being that I’m a few generations removed from the legacy of Elvis, I always sort of regarded him as a joke. After visiting Memphis and being introduced to a wide range of his work I realized I was judging the man from his worst works, when his best are, well, some of the best ever. Oh yeah, the city itself is great too!

  5. Kennon C. says:

I’m going to be honest I do not remember too much about elvis, but I have heard some of his fantastico music and I would like to learn more about him and this trip would do just that

  6. Sarah says:

I didn’t have much interest in Elvis until after visiting Graceland. That made me a huge fan of him and his music!

I think a trip to Graceland would be pretty cool. I would definately want to visit Sun Studios.

  10. Elizabeth says:

Ive been to Graceland and its really cool to see the decorative stylings from back then. They used alot fabric and it was very unique. You dont get to go upstairs out of respect to the family because when Elvis was alive in that time you never invited people upstairs to where your sleeping quarters were. The jets were awesome and it was very somber to see the memorial garden. Graceland is a must see for anyone going to Memphis.

  11. Chelsie says:

I’ve been to all three–Graceland, Sun Studio, and the Hard Rock Cafe. It was a lot of fun. The Sun Studio was definitely an experience I will never forget.

This seems like it would be pretty cool. I’m not that much into Elvis, but his impact upon shaping the genre of rock and roll is undeniable and I think I ought to pay my respects to him and some of the other rock and roll pioneers by making a trip to Memphis sometime and checking out Graceland, Sun Studio and the Hard Rock cafe.

  16. Jennifer says:

  21. Sarah says:

The best time to go to Memphis to get the Elvis experience has got to be during Elvis week. Thousands of people from all over the world come during this time. You won’t find so many Elvis impersonators all in one place than at Graceland! Graceland also holds several special events and activities during this time as well. It’s a ton of fun.

  22. Marie says:

I’ve been a huge Elvis fan since I was 7 years old. My first visit to Graceland was back in 1982 for my 17th birthday present. For anyone visiting Memphis, whether you’re an Elvis fan or not, I highly recommend the Sun Studio tour — I do it every time I go to Memphis, and it always gives me a chill. If you have the time, it’s nice to take the trip south to Tupelo, MS to where Elvis was born and lived before his family moved to Memphis. Whenever someone new comes to Memphis w/us I always make sure to include Sun Studio and Tupelo — in addition to Graceland, of course — to get the full “experience”.

I’ve been to Memphis at Christmas and his b-day celebration…been in the spring…and been during Elvis Week. I have to say, I believe you get the real idea of the impact that Elvis has had on the world by visiting during Elvis Week in August.

As for the “Elvis Experience” – If you’re not already a fan, I promise you, you’ll leave a fan of this wonderful man and his unbelievable talent!
