Hurry and join in the fun at Branson‘s Shepherd of the Hills car show, taking place from August 12-14. The event premieres with the “Show n’ Shine,” which boasts over 500 unique models of cars dating back to the early part of the 20th century. Each of these cars will be parked at the Shepherd of the Hills Historic Homestead, and after viewing the cars, you can take a break to cool off back at your area lodging.
The Shepherd of the Hills Vigilante Zip Rider will have special hours during the car show, so you may want to book now to make sure you have a spot. The hours are from 5:00-7:30 pm on August 12 and 13. This amazing attraction starts 230 feet above ground on the observation tower deck and pulls passengers down a half-mile-long line to ground level. You’ll be traveling at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour!
Branson Zipline and Canopy Tours
If you’re still in the mood for a scenic zip line experience, don’t forget the Branson Zipline and Canopy Tours, which offers up to three types of zip line attractions. Visitors have the option of the Blue Streak, a 70-foot free fall which consists of one lengthy zip line and a gentle descent after the free fall. Also, you may try the ever-popular Ozarks Xplorer, consisting of seven zip lines and lasting approximately two and half hours. Our other main attraction, the Flying Prospector, is a condensed version of the Ozarks Xplorer and lasts around an hour an a half. These exciting zip lines book up quickly, so make sure you make reservations ahead of time!
Take part in the Branson environment with your family and friends. The entertainment and attractions will make your summer memorable.
