Bring the whole family to enjoy any of these wonderful attractions during the sunny day or attend at night for a totally new experience.

SeaWorld’s Summer Nights

SeaWorld will transform after dark from now until August 29 and again from September 4-6 during SeaWorld’s Summer Nights. You will get to see seasonal nighttime shows such as Shamu Rocks, visit with Clyde and Seamore the sea lions during Sea Lions Tonite, and also stare in amazement when you see the acrobatic extravaganza at Cirque de la Mer. There will also be a fireworks finale, Shamu’s SkySplash!

San Diego Zoo’s Nighttime Zoo

Join other zoological enthusiasts at San Diego Zoo’s Nighttime Zoo where you can enjoy extended hours and see daily special performances from now until September 6. With extended hours, you will have ample time to see over 4,500 rare and endangered creatures. Special daily performances include SOAR: A Symphony in Flight, Dr. Doolittle, Nature’s Tricks at Discovery Outpost, and many more exciting shows!

African Summer Festival at the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park

This summer, celebrate the birth of African three new elephant calves at the African Summer Festival. Zookeepers will show the elephants playing and searching their 3-acre plot for hidden treats. Also enjoy the new animal show, African Safari Misadventures. The fun continues with acrobats, storytellers, artists, and Robert, the Zoo’s digital talking zebra!

I’ve always wanted to go the San Diego Zoo, they have a wonderful wildlife preservation program that for years has been diligently working to save the Giant Panda population. They have one of the most high tech and successful panda breeding programs. I want to go just to observe this phenomenon and to see the amazing plethora of endangered species that inhabit the San Diego Zoo.
