Hear Tales from the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg – Pigeon Forge
For the 19 year in a row, the Gatlinburg – Pigeon Forge area will be hosting the annual Smoky Mountains Storytelling Festival, grouping together legendary narrators from around the nation to read from June 10-12. Drink in the tales and wonders started almost two decades ago, and join hundreds of others as they gather in Pigeon Forge’s Grand Majestic Theater to listen to live tellings of stories of the past. In addition to the rousing narrations, you’ll be able to sign up and participate in workshops where you can listen to the storyteller reveal his or her profession and hobbies, adding substance and color to the already brilliant stories he or she has told.
