An exciting Memorial Day Weekend is ahead of everyone visiting Williamsburg, VA May 29th and 30th because the Yorktown Civil War Weekend will be taking place. This event will be located at the Yorktown National Battlefield and Yorktown Victory Center and includes incredible events like Civil War music demonstrations, weapons demonstrations, field medical demonstrations, and much more. You won’t believe how rich in both history and excitement this event will be. It really brings the past to life!

When you aren’t taking part in the activities of the Yorktown Civil War Weekend, see the other attractions that the Williamsburg area has to offer. The Yorktown Sailing Cruises will give you more history and background on the area in its own unique way. A 300 year old tall ship is your mode of transportation, and it will take you by attractions like Yorktown Battlefield and Victory Monument. You can’t find a more unique or exciting tour anywhere else.

With all of the patriotism this weekend brings to the surface, there is no better time to take a tour of our nation’s presidents at President’s Park. Go and visit the 16 foot busts that give you a larger-than-life view of these great men. Learn about how each individual shaped the nation to make it what it is today. At the end of the tour, enjoy some refreshments at the First Ladies Tea Parlor.
