New York City is preparing for the New York Early Music Celebration to start on May 1st. This event will feature music from the 11th to the 16th century in a ten day festival that brings musicians and early music lovers from all over the world to New York. Chamber music and medieval love songs are just two of the types of music that will be performed for your enjoyment at this festival.

Get more music culture while you’re in New York with a show on Broadway. Fela! is the new Broadway show that is quickly gaining popularity in the city. This show mixes the writing of Jim Lewis with the musical stylings of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. With Tony award winner Bill T. Jones directing and choreographing the show, it’s a show that is designed for success and fantastic performances.

Enjoy more incredible music and performances with the musical Wicked. Watch the journey of two women and see how the Wicked Witch of the West was born in the Wizard of Oz. The sets, the music, the costumes, and the fascinating storyline will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire show.
