The National Golf Expo Swings Into Boston, MA

The National Golf Expo is coming to Boston, MA at the Bayside Expo Center March 6th through March 8th. This special event gives golfers from all over the nation a chance to meet with New England PGA members to work on their swing or stance and compete against other golfers. The Bayside Expo Center has the added benefit of having one of the largest indoor driving ranges in the country. This event is so huge that over 180,ooo square feet is devoted to the golfing retailers, activities, and displays at the show.

While you’re in Boston, MA take the time to get to know the history of the city and surrouding areas with the Cambridge, Lexington and Concord Tour. You’ll learn about the American Revolution on this tour, and will also be given an intimate tour of the homes of great American writeres like Nathaniel Hawthorne and Louisa May Alcott. For more historical sites, take the Plimoth Plantation Tour for a look back at the 17th Century when America’s journey into becoming the country it is today began.

While you’re close enough, you may want to take a day trip to Cape Cod. The historic area will astound you with its beauty on the Cape Cod Excursion Tour.     I would like to visit Boston, but not a huge golf fan. I might have to skip this event, and go another time.

    Boston would be a lot of fun to visit. But I have to agree with Nichole… Not much into golf. I’ll definitely play golf on a Wii though!
