Myrtle Beach, SC Makes Others Green With Envy Over Their St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival
For a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day celebration, go to Myrtle Beach’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. The event is held on March 13th and is a St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza that is legendary. The parade in the morning includes fantastic floats, talented marching bands, community organizations, extraordinary street performers and more. In the afternoon, live entertainment will be on several stages and arts and craft vendors will be out selling their wares. With over 30,000 people attending each year, this is one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the region.
While you’re in Myrtle Beach for St. Patrick’s Day, you will want to see some of the incredible attractions unique to Myrtle Beach. Ripley’s Aquarium is a fantastic aquarium that you are literally surrounded by. A 750,000 gallon tank is home to 10 foot sharks, beautiful fish, and other sea inhabitants. Fish of every type imaginable have found a home at Ripley’s Aquarium and you can see them all while you’re in Myrtle Beach.
After being surrounded by water at Ripley’s Aquarium, you may find yourself interested in getting wet. Myrtle Waves Waterpark offers you the opportunity to do just that. With 20 acres of wet rides, pools, and a LayZee river, you’re certain to have a splashing good time. If you’d love to visit a theme park but aren’t too interested in getting wet, the Pavilion Nostalgia Park is a great theme park in the area. The rides are classic rides from the past and there are treats for those who become hungry while at the park.

I love parades! They are so much fun. I bet it’s a blast to work on those amazing floats.
