Garden Week Offers Blossoming Views of Williamsburg, VA
The Historic Garden Week in Williamsburg, VA is creating quite a stir. The event is so large that is has been dubbed ‘America’s Largest Open House.’ This event, which takes place on April 17th, takes visitors through over 250 homes, gardens, and landmarks across the state giving people a chance to see the best and most beautiful areas on Williamsburg.
Some of the landmarks that will be on the tour are the Yorktown and James River Plantations. While you’re in the area, you’ll want to see some of the other historical landmarks Williamsburg has to offer. The Jamestown Settlement and Colonial Williamsburg have a lot of historical value to the history of the United States that would be fascinating for anyone to explore. Colonial Williamsburg has 300 acres on which various political sites and historic homes sit just waiting to be discovered.
For other types of entertainment, you may also want to visit one of the amusement parks in the area. The Busch Gardens Williamsburg offers some culture, some history, and a lot of thrill rides. I have always wanted to visit Williamsburg but haven’t been able to yet. Going during Garden Week sounds like the perfect time to see all the landmarks.
