TaleSpin Festival Brings Unique Entertainment to Chattanooga, TN
On May 14th and 15th, the TaleSpin Festival comes to Chattanooga, TN. Storytellers from all over the nation come and spin tales for listeners who gather together for the occasion. Learn about history and culture from people who can weave it into an interesting story. Share humor with other visitors who experience the stories with you. The TaleSpin Festival brings people together in a unique way.
While you’re in Chattanooga for the TaleSpin Festival, you’ll also want to go and see the natural attractions the area is famous for. Many of these attractions are featured in the Lookout Mountain Attractions. Explore Rock City, Ruby Falls, and the Incline Railway on this tour. Gorgeous rock formations in Rock City, a beautiful underground waterfall in Ruby Falls, and a ride on the world’s steepest passenger railway with the Incline Railway are enough entertainment for everyone on this tour.
For more natural scenery attractions, visit some of the amazing caverns in Chattanooga. The beauty of the scenery above the ground is incredible, but don’t underestimate the caverns. Caverns like the ones in the Crystal Palace Cave Tours are sure to thrill you with their beauty and the mystery their dark corners provide. For an entirely out of the ordinary cavern tour go on the Sequoyah Caverns Tour with Visit to Ellis Homestead tour which has a Lantern Tour that is one of a kind. The other half of this tour is called the Looking Glass tour and features underground reflecting pools that show a different view of the caverns.

I have always loved hearing stories. That gives me a great reason to go to Chattanooga, and the tours like the Sequoyah Caverns Tour with the Visit to Ellis Homestead sounds too good to pass up! I would really love to take a tour of a cavern by latern. How neat!
The TaleSpin Storytelling Festival is one of the best storytelling festivals in the Southeast. Every year since it began, I’ve looked forward to coming to Chattanooga for a weekend in May. Several top national tellers are always featured, along with regional tellers. Unfortunately, the festival has always been poorly publicized. In the article above, for example, no featured storytellers are named — and Big Names have Big Followings. So,
can you plese tell us who will be telling May 14-15, 2010 at the TaleSpin Storytelling Festival??? Your “Related post” article has information for the 2009 festival, which is almost worse than having no festival information at all, because the dates are different this year. That passe post would be typical of festival publicity. Sadly, Chattanooga, a wonderful city to visit, is all too prone to hiding her light under a bushel and making visitors dig for information.
