Houston Street Fair and Market Offer Good Times in San Antonio, Texas
In San Antonio, Texas, the Street Fair and Market is a monthly event that both locals and people from out of town can enjoy. The day-long event takes place on the 27th of March and the 24th of April and is appropriate for all ages. The admission is free and the opportunities for fun are endless.
Children will be delighted with an area set up just for them that allows them to get their faces painted, play on various rides, or listen to storytellers. Adults will be entertained with the shopping, arts, and crafts they can check out. Foods like roasted corn, turkey legs, and gorditas will be available for purchase for those who become hungry during the events of the day. For children and adults alike who love animals, there is also an event called “Pets in the Park” where animals are up for adoption.
If you love animals but would prefer not to take one home, The Wild Animal Orphanage allows you to see exotic animals and learn about how the non-profit organization cares for each animal. To see even more wildlife visit the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch where a safari-style trip through the ranch will allow you to view animals going about their everyday lives.
