The DC Independent Film Festival is once again returning to Washington DC this March 4 through 14, offering visitors a varied time of independent cinema replete of the stagnation and conformity of Hollywood! Aside from debuting films from some of the most creative minds currently in the film industry, the DC Independent Film Festival also features seminars on a variety of topics including music within film.

Those interested in being a part of the DC Independent Film Festival are encouraged to learn more and find lodging in the DC area online.

While the DC Independent Film Festival is definitely geared towards films that bring a strong artistic perspective to film, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the best of both worlds. A fan of movies is a fan of movies, and while visiting the area for the DC Independent Film Festival, you can compliment your experience with the On Location Tours Featuring Washington DC TV and Movie Sites. This unique tour will provide a view of DC as seen from popular shows and movies including The Godfather 2, The Exorcist, Thank You For Smoking, X Files and more.

My brother would love to go to this. He is in college in Chicago getting his degree in directing and film making. I will have to let him know so he can make arrangements to get to Washington DC.

I love independant films and the DC Independent Film Festival sounds like so much fun. I have never been to Washington DC, but I would love to go.
