The National Storytelling Festival at the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough, Tennessee is quickly approaching. This annual event draws visitors and storytellers from all over the United States. This year’s event is scheduled to take place October 2 through 4.
The National Storytelling Festival features a range of events throughout the festival. The event features a variety of world-renowned storytellers like Roslyn Bresnick-Perry, Jennifer Armstrong, Bill Harley, The Storycrafters, and Kathryn Windham. Special events of the festival include special Ghost Stories and Midnight Cabaret evening performances. Storytellers come from a range of backgrounds, from Alaska Inuits to Appalachian natives. The festival takes place in Jonesborough, Tennessee’s oldest town. Tickets for the festival may be bought at the door.
