Spend Your Fourth of July Weekend in San Diego
Independence Day is just a couple of short weeks away, so time is running short to decide your plans for the big day. Fortunately, San Diego can help make the decision easier for you with its annual Big Bay Fireworks celebration. Act now and move one step closer to creating a Fourth of July celebration worth remembering!
The Big Bay Fireworks celebration will be held near Seaport Village. Feel free to spend an entire day at this site, as Seaport Village offers one-of-a-kind shopping and dining options on the premises. Work up an appetite by visiting such stores as Crazy Shirts, Island Hoppers, and the San Diego City Store, then enjoy delectable seafood dishes at the San Diego Pier Cafe, Harbor House, or many others. Around 9:00 p.m., the real fun begins. With the distinction of being California’s largest fireworks display, the Big Bay Fireworks celebration will light up the San Diego Sky to the tune of live broadcasted music to create an experience unlike any other.
Of course, San Diego offers great family-friendly attractions and activities, so you can schedule your entire Fourth of July weekend or more in San Diego and never repeat the same activity twice. Round up the family and beat the July heat at Soak City Water Park. Enjoy raft riding, steep slides, or lounging in the sun at the water park, which has something for every member of your family. Or, enjoy a more educational experience by taking the San Diego Harbor Whale Watch tour. See whales, dolphins, sea lions, and other forms of marine life. You will gain insight into the lives of these creatures as they roam within their natural habitat.
Now is the time to start planning. With the wide variety of constant San Diego activities, schedule your summer vacation in San Diego around the Big Bay Fireworks celebration and highlight your trip with an unforgettable fireworks display!
