Music City Independence Day Concert SpectacularEach year on July 4, crowds of upwards of 80,000 people gather at Riverfront Park in Nashville, TN to witness the annual Music City Independence Day Concert Spectacular. The ultimate Fourth of July celebration has become something of a tradition in the Music City, which has celebrated this event for over 20 years with music, great food, and fireworks.

This year’s event figures to be as good as ever. The celebration begins around noon with the opening of Family Zone, which includes terrific food and free entertainment. Next comes the pre-show live music along the riverfront around 3 p.m., followed by the official two-hour concert at 7 p.m. Among the entertainers already set to perform are Wynonna Judd, Gabe Dixon, Barry Scott, the Nashville Symphony, and the Fisk Jubilee Singers.

The evening culminates with one of the most awe-inspiring fireworks displays you’ll ever see. In fact, the display has been ranked among the highest in the country in recent years. The entire display is orchestrated to the sounds of the Grammy-nominated Nashville Symphony, creating an altogether unforgettable Independence Day celebration.

Be sure to book a Downtown Nashville hotel to ensure that you’re never too far from Riverfront Park or any of Nashville’s other great attractions.
