Held along the banks of the Tennessee River, the Riverbend Festival is a nine-day celebration of all musical styles that takes place in downtown Chattanooga. This year’s festival is set to take place from June 6 - 14, and will feature an all-star line-up of eclectic sound. Six stages are slated for the festival to house the talents of the Black Crowes, Futureman, A Fall From Grace, Galactic, Anthony Hamilton, Little Big Town, Mercy Me, Josh Turner, The Ohio Players and more!
For those attending the entire festival, Chattanooga offers a wide variety of activities to keep you busy during the festival’s downtime. In fact, outdoor enthusiasts can find an entire day of activities waiting at Lookout Mountain Attractions. Lookout Mountain Attractions includes admission to Rock City for unprecedented views of the Appalachians; the Incline Railway, a train with a 73% grade steep that can take you to the top of Lookout Mountain for the highest views of the area; and the 145-foot underground water fall, Ruby Falls.
And for those that won’t have a full day to spend, you can always take a few hours out of the musical festivities to enjoy the nature of Chattanooga through the Chattanooga Nature Center. Featuring 30 species native to the Tennessee area, the Chattanooga Nature Center is a great representation of the countless area’s of untamed nature that can be found throughout Tennessee.
