The show plays out under the watchful eye of Don Carlos, the King, who is searching for a competent man suitable for his daughter. Cheer for your knight as he competes in jousting, hand-to-hand combat, and horseback riding among other competitions. At the end of the competition, the winning knight will be announced amongst the cheers of the crowd. The true stars of the show are the magnificent stallions. Medieval Times owns more than 400 horses which are bred and trained on the Medieval Times ranch in northernTexas. Each horse is trained until making their show debut at age 3. After a few years in the spotlight they retire to their birthplace back inTexasto continually be treated like royalty.
